Dear Alpha Siddha,

I am very happy to see the tremendous response to the name ‘Alpha Siddha'. It is felt to be more empowering than ‘Alphonian'. That was the reason for my initiating this change. Many Alpha Siddhas had one question. Can we call ourselves a Siddha? Particularly those who attended Level 1 in the last couple of months were quite hesitant to call themselves a Siddha just after a one day's class. I wish to clarify this point here.

The AMP Level 1 class today is a very powerful workshop. The initiation at the end of the workshop comes from the Siddhas and is extremely powerful. It is the initiation which transforms a person and not just the techniques. Hence, after the workshop you are an ‘Alpha Siddha' and can rightfully call yourself one. Do not hesitate to use this term.

In the level 1 workshop I insist that you should make that day a turning point in your life. Whatever had happened before that day can be termed as the ‘past' and laid down to rest. After the AMP workshop, you should understand energy in a very different way. Always be in the flow of good energy. Meditate everyday, keep your aura strong and have only positive thoughts. This will bring a perceptible change in your life. You will find your life becoming better and better.

Becoming a Siddha does not mean becoming a sanyasi. It simply means you are on the path of self realization, you have expanded your consciousness, you have connected with your source, you have broken the boundaries in your mind, you are now capable of giving a lot of love and blessings to everyone around you. To do this, you do not have to renounce everything that you now enjoy. Live a normal life, do your duties with happiness, excel in whatever you do and be empowered ! And you are a Siddha ! Let this change happen within you. You do not have to wear special clothes or make any external changes to prove this to anyone. Just flow with life, flow with love.

Before you begin your meditation everyday, mentally connect with all the Holy Siddhas, experience their energy and then start your meditation! Let me know how you feel !

Blessings,
Dr. Viji Panthaiyan

Mind to Mind

Very often people ask me one question. Is it right to use spiritual energy to manifest materialistic goals? In fact after attending our Level 2 and Level 3 people feel so much spiritual energy in the meditations that they feel reluctant to think of any materialistic goals after the meditation. So, how do we balance our energies? How do we ensure that our spiritual and materialistic growth support each other and do not conflict with each other?

Here, I wish to share with you the experience of an Alpha Siddha. I will call him Mr. X to preserve his privacy. He is a very rich person, used to a very affluent lifestyle. His living comforts equal that of a five star hotel. All the same, his spiritual inclination is also very high. He meditates for long hours everyday in the comfort of an airconditioned room an d f eels great inner peace. However, there was this conflict in his mind - were his materialistic comforts and desires causing hurdles to his spiritual growth? Would it be better to renounce everything, wear saffron clothes and walk out into the world? Perhaps that is when the spiritual growth will be complete? Perhaps that is when the real enlightenment will come? The question loomed very big in his mind. How could he find the answer? He thought about it a lot. But could not bring himself to take a decision.

He meditated upon this and then reached a decision. He was living the life of a millionaire. Now, he wanted to try out the life of a sadhu for a short period. Then he would be in a position to decide which suited him more. Having made that decision, he heaved a sigh of relief and immediately went into action.

He got himself some saffron color clothes, a bag to carry some clothes and essentials and some cash. He booked himself on a train by second class to go to Rishikesh. Isn't that supposed to be the place where all sadhus gathere d f or great spiritual reasons?

The ‘D' day arrived. He reached the railway station in his saffron clothes. He boarded the second class compartment. He was shocked, to say the least, with the dirt and the crowd. He had never traveled by second class. It was a long journey. People looked at him and believed he was a great sadhu and asked him about their karma an d f uture. He gave them reassuring replies. The journey was unbearable for him. He tried to meditate on the train in the night, but somehow simply could not. The stench of urine and cigarettes were nauseating. He reached Rishikesh after a long and tiring journey.

He went to a small hotel for a room. The owner looked at him suspiciously and aske d f or full payment to be made in advance even for a single day. Mr. X felt quite humiliated. He thought about his purse inside the bag with half a dozen credit cards which would be accepted anywhere in the world. However, he parted with some cash and went inside. Again he was shocked. He had to use a common toilet! That was another experience. He simply could not understand how people could be so dirty in their habits!

Wherever he went, he was asked to pay up front and was treated with great suspicion. However, it was a different story with elderly ladies. They actually liked his personality. Many of them wanted to talk to him. Some of them gave him food to eat ! When he sat on a stone on the sidewalk to rest, they thought he was begging for food ! Mr. X felt quite amused but tried his best to smile and look like a very enlightened sadhu! Not once could he meditate in those 4 days. Whenever he closed his eyes, he woke up worrying whether his little bag was intact or whether someone had simply snatched it away. In effect he had no sleep at all in around 7 days!

He tried to get closer to the other sadhus there. When he got real close, he was disgusted by the deceit and lies. So, that did not work either.

At last on the 7 th day, totally fed up with dirt an d f ilth and the wretched life, he changed his clothes, walked into a five star hotel and checked into a suite. There he first had a bath and then sat on the carpet and meditate d f or the first time in 7 days! He took the next flight back to his place and today is a very happy man having found that his affluent life was actually helping him to relax more and meditate well. He is today more peaceful, living in comfort and growing spiritually.

So, I now leave it to you to decide whether we need materialistic comforts or not. I personally feel, yes, we do need comforts which help us to relax more and be at peace with ourselves.

Go ahead, visualize and achieve your goals. Improve your lifestyle and make sure you have enough to keep anxiety about future at bay. You will find your meditations becoming better and better, your spiritual growth stronger !.

Wishing you great manifestations and unlimited spiritual growth !

Dr. Viji Panthaiyan
